Work Visa

About Work Visa for Norway

To live and work in Norway, you will have to apply for a Norway Work Visa. The most common type of Norwegian Work Visa is the Skilled Worker Visa, which is issued to someone who has found a job for a Norwegian employer and has a university degree or vocational training. It’s also possible to apply for a Job Seeker Visa.

Information about Jobseeker Visa for Norway

If you would like to go to Norway for work there are some few ways to do that.

  1. If you are a European citizen you can just go for it whenever you like.
  2. If you need a Visa, you can go on a tourist visa and apply for work inside Norway – 90 days – 3 months Visa
  3. You can ask a company for a JobSeeker Visa, means you can stay inside Norway for 6 months and apply for work
  4. You can ask a company to sign up a 2 years Work Visa before you travel to Norway

If you are qualified to apply inside Norway this is the best idea. You need to wait in the country you delivered the application. Means if you apply inside Norway, you are already IN.

A job seeker is someone who has recently graduated in Norway or is a researcher. You must pay an application fee. You must be a job seeker and look for employment as a skilled worker in Norway. You cannot be a religious leader or a teacher to get this type of Visa.

The waiting process can be up to 4-6 month's and sometime's longer!
