Welcome Letter

We are looking for someone who can combine the roles of Housekeeper and Media Secretary. Reason: I am a Film Director and Photographer, mainly producing travel documentaries and documentary films. We are also creating more and more social media content for our clients, and I could definitely use some assistance in this area. Training and education will be provided.

If the candidate is interested in being a front-facing person, model, or presenter, that would be great — but it’s not required.

We are looking for someone who is currently living in Norway or elsewhere in Europe. Alternatively, we can accept applicants from EU/EEA countries. Citizens of these countries can travel to the Schengen area, including Norway, for up to 90 days without a visa.

If you hold a Bachelor’s degree, the process is even easier — also for applicants from outside the EU/Schengen area.

If you meet any of these criteria, please feel free to contact me. You can find information about me, my work, and all contact details by searching for my name — Olaf Rudolfsen.

Please note: The Norwegian government cancelled the Au Pair program (and the related Au Pair visa) in March 2024. However, Au Pairs without a visa are still accepted under certain conditions.

Jon Description

Light Housekeeper. 3-4 hours of daily work. General housekeeping and easy tasks. If you are also qualified as a Media Assistant/Secretary, we can discuss these details later. Consider this a bonus option and an extra opportunity. Not easy or possible to describe in few words here.

The candidate is welcome to use the whole home, including the kitchen, bathroom, and living room. You will, of course, have your own, small private single bedroom, giving you both comfort and privacy.

If the candidate wants to do some additional work outside our family, we’re completely fine with that.

Family Description

We are a small family. Just me and my 16-year-old son, means I’m a single father, and we’ve been living on our own since 2021 (following a divorce). We’re looking for a light housekeeper to help out for 3-4 hours a day.

Hobbies & Interests: Golf, nature, and travel. Most importantly, even though we mainly live in the city, we have a fantastic farm in the countryside, about 1.5 hours’ drive from our main home. It’s our little paradise on Earth, where we spend holidays and occasional weekends.

Accommodation

The candidate is welcome to use the whole home, including the kitchen, bathroom, and living room. You will, of course, have your own, small private single bedroom, giving you both comfort and privacy.
